The government of Tamaulipas announced the return to face-to-face classes through a pilot program, in 7 of its municipalities.
These are 11 schools (10 primary and one secondary) that were selected by the Technical Committee of the state’s ‘Return to Face Classes’ strategy, out of 60 who applied to be part of the pilot program.

According to the decree, published on Tuesday in the Official Newspaper of the state, the selected schools are located in the municipalities: Méndez, Ocampo, Gómez Farías, Palmillas, Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, Camargo and Aldama.
These municipalities are located in green epidemiological traffic light, according to the update of 21 May.

The Ministry of Education, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, will make known the names of the selected campuses.
The governor of the state, Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca clarified that the return to school will be voluntary, responsible and safe.
On the other hand, the decree states that the return will be made on the basis of the Protocol for the Return to School Campuses of Basic Education in Tamaulipas, prepared by the Ministry of Education.

The Secretariat of State Health, Coepris and municipal authorities shall be responsible for monitoring compliance with the provisions of the Pilot Phase of the Return to Face Class Strategy.
