Amazon Studios premieres The Morning War, a drama starring Chris Pratt and Yvonne Strahovski in which we can see how the world is surprised when a group of time travelers arrive since 2051 to bring an urgent message. Thirty years into the future, humanity is losing a world war against a deadly alien species, and the only hope of survival is that the soldiers and civilians of the present will be transported into the future and unsealed into battle.
Among the recruits is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester. Determined to save the world for her young daughter, Dan joins a brilliant scientist and her distant father to save humanity from alien invasion. Directed by Chris McKay and written by Zach Dean, this 140-minute apocalyptic drama shows us the desperate search for its protagonists to rewrite the fate of the planet.
