Santa Fe Councillor Norma López was threatened with death by Doctors for Truth militants after being denounced for their demonstration against government-announced restriction measures. Defense Minister Agustín Rossi symvied with Lopez: “My absolute repudiation of those who systematically incite hatred and encourage non-compliance with health measures against covid-19,” he wrote.

Lopez called the members of “Doctors for the Truth” “denialist fanatics” and stated that the threats received have “a clear fascist tint” and are “grievances and threats” towards their “physical integrity” and that of their “family”. One of the grievances says “daughter of remil p … I curse you and your whole family with fire, I condemn you to be able to be alive.”

From another user they wrote to the council “if I see you, I swear I’ll break you as much as I can.” López explained that he decided to “make public” the threats because of their severity and advanced that he would report to the Rosario Prosecutor’s Office for investigation of the perpetrators.
