Oaxaca de Juárez.- The candidate of the Citizen Movement for the local council of the 06th District of Oaxaca, Anastasio Villareal Díaz, died this Sunday after suffering complications from a kidney condition. The family of the MC’s standard-bearer in the Mixteca region confirmed the news through a statement published a few hours after the unfortunate death.

The candidate’s colleagues and friends described him as a person dedicated to safeguarding the region’s biodiversity from public policy, as the agronomist and cultural promoter he was.
