Registration for repro will remain open until tomorrow, Tuesday, through the AFIP website, for companies, monotributistas and freelancers. As of April, the government had invested more than $19 billion in this program.
This was reported by the Cabinet Chief’s Office, which recalled that “with these funds, 19,917 companies were assisted through the payment of part of the salaries to a universe of 544,210 workers throughout the country.”
The assistance program “can be registered independents without employees or with a payroll of up to 5 workers who are in the sectors of gastronomy, tourism, transport, cultural industries, sports and leisure activities, trade in non-essential items, personal services (hairdressers, beauty centers) and essential branches whose turnover has been affected”. To access the benefit, “monotributistas and self-employed must have at least two contributions in the last six months in their respective regimes and must present a reduction in turnover greater than 20% in real terms, between May 1 and 31, 2019 and May 1 to 24, 2021”.
In addition, it was specified that “only three weeks of billing are taken from the month of May 2021 and compared to four weeks in 2019, to allow a higher level of access to assistance.” Finally, the Chief of Staff explained that “in the months of November and December 2020, the program provided assistance to sectors defined as non-critical and had a moderate scope while the TPP was still in operation for critical sectors.”
