Morelia, Michoacán.- The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the National Electoral Institute (INE) signed a collaboration agreement for IMSS nursing staff to provide first aid to imss personnel, in accordance with the Protocol of Action prepared by the IMSS for this purpose, during the election day and the days after the respective computations will be carried out, scheduled from June 6 to 10.
This agreement was signed by the INE by the President Councilor, Lorenzo Córdova and the Executive Secretary, Edmundo Jacobo, and by the Social Security, its General Director, Zoé Robledo, the Director of Medical Benefits, Célida Duque, and the Director of Administration, Humberto Pedrero.
In order to be aware of the state of health of those who organize this vote in the 300 District Boards and the 32 Local Executive Boards of the INE, which are 64,274 people, among them, staff of the organizational structure of the Local and District Boards and Providers and Service Providers contracted for the Electoral Process, the NURSING STAFF of the IMSS will provide coverage during the days previously indicated and in the shifts required by the INE.

The Social Security nurses will have the first aid kits, which will be composed of the supplies established in the Official Mexican Standard NOM-005-STPS-1998 and under the special requirements for an event of these characteristics; they will have spaces in conditions of hygiene and safety, as well as a fixed telephone line to make calls to the Medical Units in case of emergency.
