The Quintana Roo Prosecutor’s Office received two complaints against Ricardo Ponce for sexual crimes to the detriment of women attending alleged self-improvement courses.
For these facts, the Prosecutor’s Office searched the Akalki Hotel, located in Bacalar, where the alleged withdrawals were taking place, which was secured to continue with the investigations.

Ricardo Ponce was denounced on social networks by youTuber Maire Wink, who accused him of emotional and psychological manipulation for sexual purposes, and of replicating such practices to commit sexual abuse against women who come to his retreats.
In a video of more than 50 minutes posted on his Youtube channel, Maire Wink recounted that he met Ponce, who buys himself as “creator of self-healing,” in February 2021, at a spiritual retreat held in Bacalar.
After several sexual advances, which Ponce made while the activities of the retreat were taking place, in which participants shared traumatic experiences of their lives and that made them feel vulnerable, the speaker manipulated her into having sex, the young woman said.
From Maire Wink’s complaint, other women said they had gone through similar situations, and their testimonies are collected on the Instagram account @denunciaaricardoponce, where it is announced that a lawyer will take the case of 10 victims for free.
In response to the allegations, Ponce posted a statement on his social media in which he claims he is being defamed.
“Thank you to the thousands of people who are with me right now where I am being defamed! Today I realize who my friends are and who never were. We will always be more those of us who are in the light! And truth will always win,” he wrote.
The defendant said he will prove “with facts and not speculation” that he is not guilty.
