Morelia, Michoacán.- The election day of June 6 was held in an atmosphere of relative calm in the state of Michoacán; there were no high-impact crimes or violent crimes related to the contest and only a number of people who tried to influence and coerce the population vote were arrested in some municipalities. Uruapan.In the city of Uruapan, Ignacio Benjamín Campos of the Morena-PT parties leads with 46.25% of the votes counted; almost 5 percentage points over his closest opponent Miguel Angel Paredes of the PRI-PAN-PRD alliance who captures 41.06% of the vote. Lazaro Cardenas.In the port of Lazaro Cardenas, Mariana Camacho of the Morena party leads with 53.52% over laura Carmona’s 26.9% of the PRI-PRD coalition.
