The live action series of “Resident Evil” is coming, which will tell a new story based on Capcom’s legendary video game franchise. The showrunner will be Andrew Dabb (Supernatural), who will also be executive producer and writer. The news was announced during Geeked Week, the first virtual event for fans hosted by Netflix Geeked, which reveals first details and glimpses of various productions, and celebrates everything related to the entertainment genre on the platform.

The cast consists of Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker, who will be accompanied by Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph and Paola Núñez.
