The governor of Santiago Gerardo Zamora in a meeting with the Minister of Health of the Nation, Carla Vizzotti and the rector of the local National University, Héctor Paz, signed a letter of intent for the creation of a University Hospital of Clinics in Santiago del Estero.For his part Zamora declared:
“It is a fundamental step for our health, which was born with the creation of the medical career, and the subsequent concretions of the Laboratory of the career, the building of the Faculty, and the simulation center”.
He added: “The modern state-of-the-art hospital, which we have just announced today, through the signing of an agreement, will be realized in approximately 30 months, and will consolidate the medical career of our province within the national context, with the aim of a great qualitative and quantitative leap in health for the coming years”As stated by the governor , the project is expected to be tendered before the end of the month and to be under construction before the end of the year. For his part, Hector Paz said that “today is a historic day for our National University, we sign this letter of intent in order to provide the university with a university hospital of clinics that will have state-of-the-art conditions for our province and our university.” In addition to conclude he said “It is a pride to share the signature with Minister Vizzotti and governor Zamora that our university in particular gives a magnificent work and also compromises the equipment that is of high economic value”
