Morelia, Michoacán. – Former Michoacan Governors Leonel Godoy Rangel and Jesus Reyna Garcia responded to the accusations made this morning by Governor Silvano Aureoles Conejo that they, having supported Alfredo Ramirez Bedolla, are going to install a narco-government in the state, with a lawsuit and an invitation to prove this fact.
The first to respond was Jesus Reyna, who in a letter to the media, said that months before the campaign the governor personally sought him out to ask him to support Carlos Herrera Tello, candidate of the PRI, PAN, and PRD, to which he refused.
He invited him to report it to the appropriate authorities if he can verify that he has ties to drug trafficking and if they influenced the election “if he has so much manhood.”
Likewise, Reyna Garcia in the letter says that “I see that it hurt you a lot that we did not support your candidate, I propose that you dissipte your pain, as it is said that every day you do it in the afternoons”.
Meanwhile, Leonel Godoy announced on a radio program that he will proceed legally against Silvano Aureoles Conejo for the crime of defamation and also invited him to verify with reliable evidence the intervention of organized crime in the election.

“We have done everything legally, we have even responded to his requests for electoral trials, as his candidate did not win at the polls he wants to do it in the courts, I am going to proceed legally against him because it is a defamation that he does and there is no margin or panorama for the election to be annulled,” said the now elected federal deputy.

He added that the Team for Michoacan is desperate and that is why Silvano Aureoles wants to put media pressure so that the election is annulled and now they can intervene in the electoral process in favor of their candidate.
