The Ministry of Health reported 278 more deaths from COVID-19, so there are at least 232,346 deaths recognized by the disease.
It also detected 5,270 recent cases, so there are 2 million 498 thousand 357 people who have become ill with the virus, since the beginning of the epidemic.

However, authorities estimate that 33,548 (1%) are active cases of COVID from having recent symptoms.
The trend of suspected cases continues to increase, with 14% more between weeks 22 and 23 of the year.

33% of the population vaccinated against COVID
So far, 42 million 791,467 vaccines against the virus have been applied in Mexico.
This corresponds to 29 million 520 thousand 484 people with at least one dose (33% of the adult population in Mexico), of which 62% has a complete vaccination schedule.
On June 24 alone, 629,439 covid vaccines were killed.
