The measures in force and ordered by the government up to and including July 9 are:
The borders remain closed to tourism: Anyone who is not Argentine and wants to enter the country for the purpose of tourism will not be able to do so.
Flights from: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Chile, Brazil, India, African countries, Turkey continue to be suspended.
A quota of 600 passengers per day was set for entry into the country.
Those who return from abroad between 1 July and 31 August are obliged to isolate themselves in places determined by the provincial and CABA governments for 10 days from the testing carried out in the country of origin.
The stay in the places of isolation will be in charge of the passenger.
Those who returned from travel will be checked for solitary confinement in their homes and criminal charges will be filed if non-compliance with isolation is verified, in accordance with articles 205 and 239 of the Criminal Code, for violation of measures against epidemics and disobedience to public authority, punishable by imprisonment from six months to two years and imprisonment from 15 days to one year, respectively.
Travelers must take a test to board the plane to Argentina. In addition, they must be tested upon arrival in the country and another test on the seventh day of admission.
Those who are negative, upon entering the country, must comply with the isolation in the places that the provincial governments and the CABA have and must perform a new test to finish it.
Those who test positive upon entry into the country must perform another genomic sequencing test and, together with their close contacts, be isolated in the places indicated by the national authorities, until their safe transfer to the residence if appropriate.
All testing and stay in the places of isolation will be in charge of the passenger.
Likewise, the traveler must declare the places where he/she was the last 14 days prior to re-entry into the country.
For entry authorized as an exception for migration, through land crossings, the provincial jurisdiction must provide safe corridors. Non-resident foreigners who enter to perform essential work, with authorization from Immigration, must comply with the quarantine.
The provinces will have to monitor compliance with the isolation of persons admitted from abroad.
New requirements for carriers and crews:
Terrestrial: foreigners and nationals must have a negative Covid test that will be valid for seven days.
Ships: foreigners must remain on board and will not have relief in the country; nationals, perform an antigen test within 72 hours of admission.
Air: foreigners must move under bubble mode in the country and comply with health protocols; nationals, perform antigen tests at least every 15 days or less.
Finally, it is recommended that all Argentines and residents not travel abroad, especially those who are part of the risk groups, in order to avoid the difficulties and sanitary conditions required for re-entry, taking into account the rapid evolution of epidemiological conditions. In addition, international group travel, of graduates, retirees and retirees, of study, for unofficial sports competitions, continues to be suspended; of tourist groups and of recreational and social activities, in a generic form.
