Health authorities recorded a 12% increase in the trend of COVID-19 cases nationwide, between the 23rd and 24th weeks of the year.
It also recorded 1,661 recent cases of COVID, bringing to at least 2.5 million people who have become ill with the virus since the beginning of the epidemic.
However, the agency estimates that 32,520 (1%) are active cases of COVID, showing symptoms in the last 14 days.
In addition, they confirmed 44 more deaths, so there are 232,608 confirmed deaths from the disease.
30 million vaccinated against COVID
So far, 43 million 912,990 vaccines against the disease have been applied in Mexico.
The doses applied correspond to 30 million 78 thousand 813 people who have received at least one dose, (34% of the adult population in Mexico).
