Morelia, Michoacán.- Workers of the defunct michoacan road board demonstrated in the vicinity of the convention center for an auction of machinery announced by the Secretariat of Communications and Public Works of the State (SCOP).
Nazario Aguilar Gonzalez, a former member of the Roads Board, said they learned through the media about this auction what will be done to sell machinery that was previously used for road maintenance.
In that sense, he said that this can be used for the maintenance of the road sections of Michoacan and therefore they must be preserved, in addition to the fact that 450 people are still waiting for their liquidation.

Among the machinery that he said is going to be auctioned are trucks for pothole days, bulldozers and vans that were in charge of conducting surveillance on the roads.
For this reason, he said, the former workers of the road board wanted to express their disagreement in this action and said that they are still waiting for the authorities to notify them when their settlements will be delivered.
