The national government finalizes the details to send in the coming days 10 flights to China with the aim of bringing to the country 8 million doses of Sinopharm.The new shipment is part of the contract that the National Executive signed days ago with the Chinese laboratory for the purchase of a total of 24 million vaccines against the coronavirus.
It is expected that the flights of Aerolíneas Argentinas to Beijing will depart from july 7 at the rate of one per day, reported the NA agency. The first of these would come out this Friday. Those planes would bring 800,000 doses each to set up the trips in the most “logical” way. On June 25, the Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, reported that the National Executive signed a new contract with the Chinese laboratory Sinopharm to acquire 24 million new doses. >
The contract with the Chinese laboratory stipulates deliveries of “8 million doses in July, 8 million in August and 8 million in September.” In this way, the doses that will arrive in the coming months will be added to the 6 million Sinopharm vaccines that Argentina received in recent months, thus reaching a total of 30 million doses from the Chinese laboratory.
