Tonight and early morning, tropical wave No. 7 will move over southern Mexico and interact with a trove of low pressure extended over the center and east of the territory, causing very heavy spot rains in Puebla, Oaxaca and Veracruz, as well as heavy rains in Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, State of Mexico, Mexico City, Morelos and Guerrero.
A second trot of low pressure over the Sierra Madre Occidental, instability in the upper atmosphere and the inflow of moisture from the Pacific Ocean, will cause intense spot rains in Sonora, very heavy in Chihuahua, Durango, Sinaloa, Nayarit and Jalisco, as well as strong in Colima and Michoacán.
The aforementioned rains will be accompanied by electric shocks, strong winds and the possibility of hail falling, in addition to the existence of conditions for the development of whirlwinds in Sonora, Chihuahua, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo and Puebla.
By tomorrow, Tropical Wave No. 7 will move over southern and gradually western Mexico and increase the likelihood of heavy to very heavy rains accompanied by electric shocks and possible hail fall in that region. Channels of low pressure in the interior of the Mexican Republic, instability in the upper atmosphere and the entry of moisture from both oceans, will generate heavy to very heavy rains in the northwest, center, east and southeast of the country, including the Valley of Mexico, with intense spot rains, thunderstorms, hailstorms and possible whirlwinds in the State of Mexico (north), Hidalgo and Puebla. A new tropical wave will approach and increase the chance of rain in the Yucatan Peninsula. Finally, a hot to very hot environment will persist with temperatures above 40°C in Baja California and Sonora.
