Nuevo León, Monterrey.- After accounting for a high number of Covid-19 infections in the state of Nuevo León, the Ministry of Health announced that the stadiums will have to limit their number of spectators to half, in all kinds of scheduled events. “Circuses and auto circuses, Liga MX and baseball sports stadiums, concerts and music festivals, bars and canteens, clubs and nightclubs, churches, shopping centers, museums and restaurants should reduce their space to 50 percent,” Manuel de la O Cavazos, Secretary of Health of Nuevo León, said at a press conference.

Nuevo León records a total of 185,374 infections in total for 11,97 deaths, while 330 patients are hospitalized, according to official numbers from the state’s Health Secretariat. On the other hand, he stressed that there will be a return to face-to-face classes, only at upper and upper middle levels up to 30 percent of the institution’s capacity. Students who will attend school will be able to do so voluntarily. Fairs, patron saint festivals and kermeses will be prohibited.
