Morelia, Michoacán.- The reduction of the capacity allowed in establishments, as well as the reduction of the hours of operation in bars, clubs and nightclubs, from Thursday to Sunday, were the agreements reached in the session of the Municipal Health Committee, with the sole objective of curbing contagion in the Michoacan capital.
Given the increase in the number of infections that has occurred in Morelia in recent days, the Committee met to determine actions to resolve this trend and thus return the municipality to green, according to the measurement of the epidemiological traffic light.
The Committee ruled to continue with the work tables to evaluate the conditions of the realization of mass events with the necessary prevention measures, always with the condition that the capacity of the enclosures does not exceed 50 percent; the operating hours in the establishments with type C license will be until 23:00 hours, from Thursday to Sunday and with the limitation of not exceeding half of its capacity, this last condition, it will also apply in churches, spas, cinemas, hotels and restaurants, always observing the sanitary measures for the prevention of COVID-19.
