The curious name of one of the participants of La Voz Argentina caught the attention of the jurors. This is Dai Urban, an 18-year-old girl who wore singer “Llueve sobre mojado”, by Fito Páez and Joaquín Sabina, who was chosen by the Sole Pastorutti to be part of their team. But beyond her presentation the girl responded to the query of Mau Montaner who was very intrigued to know if Dai Urban was her real name and surname or an artistic nickname. The young woman answered yes and that led to the brothers revealing their names.
“Actually, my name is Daiana Geraldine Martin Urban… and I use Dai Urban because I think it’s nicer,” said the participant. “Of course, it’s his first name and his middle name,” Ricardo Montaner said. “It’s like me, I’m Ricardo Reglero… but I have a dad who became super well known,” Ricky explained. “I don’t understand why you clarify it to me,” his father joked.
When the young woman left the stage, the talk between the jurors continued: “How crazy that she’s called Dai Urban and does rock… and not urban,” Mau thought. “This program should have a section: ‘Reflections with Mau,'” La Sole added. But Mau alone doesn’t look good… let it be with all the surnames,” he insisted. “Reglero Rodríguez Montaner Miranda,” he replied. And Ricky completed: “Reflections with Mauricio Alberto Reglero Rodríguez Montaner Miranda”, and revealed the full name of his brother.
Lali, overwhelmed by so much information, said: “You have a lot of names, boludo,” she said. “Ricardo Andrés Reglero Rodríguez Montaner Miranda is me,” Ricky told him. “Mauricio Alberto I like, it’s like a soap opera,” Lali said. And Ricardo Montaner closed: “When they ask us why we gave him that name, I said, ‘Well, because he wanted to call himself that,'” and everyone laughed.
