translated from Spanish: From next week: Chileans and resident foreigners will be able to approve anti-covid vaccines received outside the country

The Undersecretary of Public Health, Paula Daza, announced that the Ministry of Health will validate, from next week, the anti-covid vaccines that Chileans and resident foreigners have received outside the country. In this way, they will be able to access the Mobility Pass.
“We are going to carry out a protocol to be able to approve the vaccines, which in the first stage will be for Chileans and foreigners residing in Chile, who for different reasons have completed their vaccination process outside Chile,” Daza said this afternoon.
The vaccines that will be approved correspond to those approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and regulatory agencies EMA, FDA and ISP. They are Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Sinovac, CanSino and Sputnik V.
The registration mechanism will be through the mevacuno.gob.cl portal. “To this platform will be added the registration of foreign vaccines of people who will be approved, in this way, they can be enabled to enter the country and to obtain their mobility pass,” explained the undersecretary.
According to Daza, the details of the measure will be delivered tomorrow, Wednesday.
