Demonstrations have occurred thursday afternoon in the center of Santiago, specifically in the Alameda. The reason for the protests is to call for the release of the so-called prisoners of the social upheaval.
Social organizations, including groups of relatives of the prisoners of the explosion, called for a series of protests today, to urge the approval of the bill that pardons those apprehended in demonstrations since 18-O.

To disperse the demonstrations, the Carabineros have acted with the water-throwing car and with personnel from the Public Order Control (COP).
