State of Mexico.- Roxana, 21 years old and mother of a small child was arrested on May 9 when she was carrying the body of a man inside a rib in the municipality of Nezahualcoyotl, Edomex, according to her testimony, the victim sexually abused her, through the page of the feminist collective “Nos Quremos Vivas Neza” she sent a letter explaining everything that happened. Roxana is currently imprisoned in the Bordo de Xochiaca prison, in the municipality of Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico, this Monday, August 2, will be her second hearing, where feminist collectives invite to be present from 12:30 pm.

Letter from Roxana
“My name is Roxana, I am 21 years old, I am originally from Pinotepa Nacional, Oaxaca, I have a 4-year-old son, for whom I have always been responsible, and she is the most important person in my life. 7 years ago I arrived in the municipality of Nezahualcóyotl with my husband in the Benito Juárez neighborhood, because I wanted a better life, to get ahead I finished high school, three years ago we separated, but he has always supported me, “reads at the beginning of the letter. In the letter you can also read that she was arrested in flagrante delicto with a body inside a rib “according to the media she was drunk and some mentioned that she was even drugged … I told them that I had murdered him, but that he had raped me and I just wanted to defend myself.” Roxana also says that she was the victim of ill-treatment by police elements; “The policemen spoke to me rudely and immediately transferred me to the corresponding Attorney General’s Office.” The young woman disclosed that the authorities did not test her or take her statement, so her process has been irregular.” I insisted that I was raped, but they never performed expert tests on psychology, nor medicine, they beat me, but they did not take photographs, they did not take into account my statement,” Roxana wrote.
My only crime was to defend myself from the man who raped me.
Later the young woman told me how the events happened, she related that she left work as usual, in front of the post is a commercial premises, I was passing by and one of the girls who worked there invited me to have a beer I agreed, I only had a beer and I told them that I was leaving, in that came a boy who worked in the place , I only knew him by sight, he arrived when I was retiring, he offered to accompany me to my home which is very close,”When we arrived he became foolish, he forced me to let him in, he insisted so much that he assists me it scared me, by foolish I agreed … I let him in, put a mat on the floor, and told him he could stay there, I went to bed and after a few minutes he got on my bed and started taking off my clothes, hit me, raped me.” The young woman in custody also tells how she defended himself from her assailant until she took his life.
I had horrible moments, I felt his breath, his hands, when he penetrated me and I just wanted this to end,” Roxana writes.
I hit him in the nose, he started bleeding and he said now if you’re going to die, I was very scared, I panicked, he was beating me, Roxana continued to tell.
I took a T-shirt and put it on his neck, suffocated him, I felt fear, terror… I felt alone, denigrated, I felt like I was worthless.

According to the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico Roxana was accused of crimes against respect for the dead and rapedn to the laws of burial, exhumation and homicide.
