The series “Mist Peak” was renewed for a second season, which will be available to watch on the streaming platform HBO Max. This was announced by the streaming platform through an official statement. Created and directed by Quico Meirelles, son of fernando Meirelles, also an Oscar-nominated director for “Ciudad de Dios”, the strip narrated in its first installment the economic consequences of this radical transformation through the eyes of Biriba (Luis Navarro), a young man who decides to install a cannabis pantry. In this sequel, the protagonist will see how every aspect of his life is increasingly dominated by CD (rapper Dexter), a drug dealer who took control not only of his family, but also of his business.
Being caught by this character, Biriba meets with old acquaintances in an attempt to promote the fall of CD, and thus definitively leave behind his link with the dark criminal network, while around him the cannabis culture begins to integrate into the Brazilian culture, despite the resistance of the most conservative sectors of society. The cast of the series is completed with the participation of Henrique Santana, Daniel Furlan, Leilah Moreno, Nathalia Ernesto and Bruno Giordano.” It is gratifying that our work is recognized with the release of the second season of Pico da Neblina and even more on HBO Max, which has just arrived in Brazil.
