The French team managed to prevail by 4 to 2 over Strasbourg, in the second round of Ligue 1.
The first goal was scored by Mauro Icardi, 3 minutes into the first half, with a headed goal that had to be reviewed by VAR.
Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe, who is in a controversy because of his delay in renewing with the club, scored the second goal in the 25th minute and it was Julian Draxler who sealed the 3-0.
In the second half, the visiting cast reacted and discounted with goals from Kevin Gameiro and Ludovic Ajorque, in the 8th and 19th minutes.
The home side looked tight but the sending off of Alexander Djiku, at 35, PSG breathed a sigh of relief again.
To seal the match, Spain’s Pablo Sarabia, assisted by Mbbape, put the game 4-2 four minutes from the close.
