The electricity supply has been restored to 65% of the affected users in Veracruz, Hidalgo and Puebla, due to the passage of Hurricane Grace, reported the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE).
He explained that the users pending to restore the service are located in places where more serious damages occurred or difficult to access.
The heavy rains and winds caused by Grace caused damage to the service of 843 thousand 24 users in the states of Veracruz, Hidalgo, Puebla, San Luis Potosi and Tlaxcala, the agency detailed.

Collection centers in CDMX  
In Mexico City, as of today, 16 collection centers were installed on the esplanades of the mayor’s offices, so that the population donates basic necessities for the inhabitants of Veracruz, affected by Hurricane “Grace”.
The supplies required are: bottled water, canned and non-perishable food, clothes and shoes in good condition, first aid kit, personal hygiene supplies, cleaning supplies, blankets and mats.
The collection centers are operating from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., said Mexico City Government Secretary Martí Batres.
