Taté Moretti is an Argentine woman who is in charge of Patagonian Distillery, the first distillery in the province of Neuquén. And his creation GINA PATAGONIAN DRY GIN is a flower gin that he designed and has just been awarded a gold medal at the World Gin Awards in London.
With this award, Taté already has 3 international awards and one local thanks to its original spirits.
The entrepreneur broke stereotypes associated with distillates and made her way into a universe that until a few years ago only men stood out. Taté is a mother of 3 children, graduated in finance, Head Distiller and founder of this productive project and after living 20 years in Buenos Aires, she returned with her family to Patagonia to develop this venture that placed her in the center of the scene in which she knew how to balance her work in a bank, the motherhood of three children and her business role in front of the first gin and vodka distillery in Neuquén.
Since its creation Patagonian Distillery added new stills and already has a production volume of around three thousand liters per week.
In addition, he created the Noctua Patagonian Vodka made with corn alcohol, distilled and rectified in copper still, it is the first award-winning craft vodka in Argentina. He won a silver medal at the world vodka awards in London England.
Taté created the line of vodkas under the concept “Hancrafted – Small Batch” (handmade in small batches) very exclusive products with flavors very different from those currently on the market.
Gina is the gin that Taté designed in honor of her daughter and is characteristic for its floral composition, with this drink she has already won two international awards so far this year. It is distilled in copper still and its botanicals compose a unique aromatic profile, the main base is juniper harvested in the Andean mountain range, along with a unique set of 6 flowers as part of the 12 botanicals that make up this gin: rose petals, jasmine petals, orange blossom, lavender flower, chamomile flower and elderflower. In addition to the Gold Medal for GINA at the World Gin Awards 2021, London and the Silver Medal for its Vodka Noctua at the World Vodka Awards 2021.Taté won a Bronze Medal for GINA at IWSC The International Wine & Spirit Competition 2021. (London) and an Honorable Mention to the “International Projection” in the CAME Award to the Young Argentine Entrepreneur.-
