The president of the board of directors of the Constitutional Convention, Elisa Loncon, testified this afternoon before the Investigation Police (PDI), as a complainant, for the case of the constituent Rodrigo Rojas Vade, who made it clear this weekend that he does not suffer from cancer.
“As president of the body I give an account of how the working relations work inside with Rojas Vade, a conventional who has been at the full disposal of the work of the convention and the data are those,” said the helmsman of the constituent body.
When asked if she has spoken with the conventional, Loncon said that “we have not been able to talk (…) I have tried but it has not been possible, it is very complicated for him (…) since the weekend he did not communicate to me”.
On the judicial process against Rojas Vade, he said that “this is part of the protocol and is installed for the investigation (…) rest… the procedure is conventional.”
Earlier, the vice president of the Convention, Jaime Bassa, also testified before the PDI. After finishing his testimony, he said that “there has been no communication” with Rojas Vade.
Recall that the board of directors denounced Rojas Vade before the Prosecutor’s Office, to investigate a debt of 27 million pesos that the conventional contracted under the description of “Bank debt corresponds to financing of chemotherapeutic treatment against cancer”,” as stated in his statement of patrimony.
