It also registered 15 thousand 876 recent cases, so there is a cumulative of 3 million 465 thousand 171 people who have fallen ill with the virus, since the beginning of the pandemic.

However, the agency estimates that 97,611 (2.7%) are active cases of COVID due to recent symptoms.
This, despite the 23% reduction in the trend of cases, between weeks 33 and 34 of the year, according to the daily technical report.
67% of the adult population with COVID vaccine
In Mexico, 88 million 593 thousand 229 vaccines against COVID have been applied; 842 thousand 848 used this September 7.
The doses applied correspond to 59 million 614 thousand 774 people with at least one vaccine, 67% of the adult population in Mexico.
However, only 62% of them have a complete vaccination schedule.
