Star+ announced the premiere of the drama series “Dopesick,” starring Michael Keaton, Peter Sarsgaard, Michael Stuhlbarg, Will Poulter, Kaitlyn Dever and Rosario Dawson. Composed of eight episodes will premiere on Friday, November 12. The miniseries, inspired by Beth Macy’s New York Times best-selling book, will take viewers to the epicenter of America’s fight against opioid addiction: from Big Pharma’s meeting rooms, through a distraught Virginia mining community, to the halls of the DEA.
