Lozoya captured in CDMX restaurant, despite house arrest

The former director of Pemex, Emilio Lozoya, was photographed on Saturday at a restaurant located in the Lomas Virreyes neighborhood, in Mexico City.
According to the images captured by journalist Lourdes Mendoza, the former official, who is under house arrest, wore an electronic bracelet, and was accompanied by two women and a man.

With these images, the pact of impunity between @EmilioLozoyaAus and the @FGRMexico Points to innocent people while he enjoys the great life to which he is accustomed is evident. The height of cynicism. With date and time so that there is no doubt. pic.twitter.com/8wedAWNsYd

Through social networks, journalist Lourdes Mendoza shared that she has a lawsuit against Emilio Lozoya for moral damage, a matter for which a hearing would be held on September 10, to which the former director of Pemex “did not appear arguing home roots.”

I did take the photos and I am not only involved I already showed that @EmilioLozoyaAus lied about me and I sued him for moral damage and on the day of his confessional Sep 10 he did not appear arguing home roots. In my TL is fixed the tweet where I check his lies https://t.co/hn0HhxPuOb

Mendoza sued Lozoya, who is accused by the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) of operations with resources of illicit origin, bribery and criminal association, after he accused her of allegedly having received a Chanel bag to maintain his support for the former Secretary of Finance, Luis Videgaray.
Currently, the accusation of the FGR against Lozoya continues in the phase of complementary investigation, in which the Prosecutor’s Office must define if it will grant the former official the criterion of opportunity to suspend his process, or if it decides to accuse him to go to trial.

Last August the hearing would be held where it would be defined, but it was postponed to this month.
