Health reports 29% fewer COVID cases; 75% of adults, with vaccine

The Ministry of Health reported a 29% decrease in the trend of COVID-19 cases, between week 38 and 39 of the year.
It also identified 10,850 recent cases, for a cumulative 3,725,242 people who have fallen ill with the virus since the beginning of the epidemic.
However, the agency estimates that only 38,135 (1%) are active cases of COVID due to presenting symptoms in recent days.

In addition, it confirmed 141 more deaths, so there are at least 282,227 officially recognized deaths from the disease.
75% of adults, with COVID vaccine
107 million 381 thousand 477 vaccines against the virus have already been applied, 194 thousand 328 of them were used this October 9.

The doses correspond to 66 million 680 thousand 553 people with at least one vaccine, 75% of the adult population in Mexico.
However, only 73% of this population has the complete vaccination schedule.
