CNTV Draw: Eduardo Artés will open the presidential electoral slot

The National Television Council (CNTV) carried out today the draws to define the order of appearance of the candidacies, pacts and parties in the strip of the presidential and parliamentary elections. The free propaganda space will be broadcast on free-to-air television channels from Friday, October 22 to Thursday, November 18, both days inclusive. The legal duration of the strip will be 40 minutes divided into two blocks of 20 minutes. In the presidential slot, these will be distributed equally among the respective candidacies, so each one will have 2 minutes, 51 seconds and 13 propaganda boxes. Meanwhile, the parliamentary electoral strip is made up of 6 pacts and 5 parties, plus independent candidacies, whose times are allocated according to the votes obtained in the last parliamentary election of 2017. The propaganda of the presidential elections will open the electoral slot on the first day of broadcast, on Friday, October 22 at 12:40 p.m., with the candidate Eduardo Artés, followed by José Antonio Kast, and the candidacy of Yasna Provoste will end it. Meanwhile, the Green Ecologist party will be the one that starts the parliamentary slot in the Prime time block, at 20:40 pm, followed by Patriotic Union, and the one that closes the first day the New Time party.It should be remembered that the order, both of the slots and the candidacies, will rotate daily, so that the option that starts on the first day will close the next, and so on.
