Sichel leaves Chile Podemos+ parties free to act with harsh criticism of Kast: “We will not build ditches, where Chileans want bridges”

In a press point made from his command, the presidential candidate of Chile Podemos +, Sebastián Sichel (ind) left in freedom of action to parties of his coalition, following that several militants have chosen to support the candidate of the Republican Party, José Antonio Kast.
Before the press, Sichel made a wide criticism about the agreements with parties that would not be fulfilled after the presidential primaries, offering the stores “freedom of action” and that they “take definitions” in the face of the November elections.
“I want to ask the parties to feel free to act, to make the decision they want, regarding their party support. We are proud to have participated in a primary school and to have won it, but we also believe in the freedom that they can have, to return to old projects,” said Sichel.
He also had criticism of the parliamentarians who decided to support Kast: “there are some who want to go back”, who “only supported for their convenience and looking at the polls of the day. They do not really believe in changes” and that they seek to support “an old right”.
“We will not build ditches, where Chileans want bridges,” he added, referring to José Antonio Kast. “We will not accept blackmail from those who want me to be transformed into something I am not: a far-right person.”
RN continues to support Sichel
In conversation with 24 Horas, the president of RN, Francisco Chahuán, reiterated that his party will support Sebastián Sichel because that was the agreement signed when he won the primaries of Chile Vamos.
“National Renewal fulfills its commitments and we continue to support it,” he said.
Moreover, he said that Sichel “is the only candidate (in the sector) capable of winning in the second round.”
