A man, identified as Ray “N”, was arrested by authorities in Guanajuato, after they identified him as a probable accused in the crime of trafficking in persons in the form of storage of child pornography and rape.
According to the Attorney General’s Office (FGE), in several files in his possession the accused sexually assaulted a minor victim, who was identified and rescued, and was provided with medical and psychological assistance.

Through a statement, the Prosecutor’s Office reported that the detainee was located with technological tools that allowed to find his whereabouts, for storing pornographic material. The activity was detected by the servers where he had hosted hundreds of illicit files.
“The defendant tried to control access to his virtual storage sites, which he had linked to email accounts that in turn were connected to four telephone numbers from where he could control the flow of files, so he managed to enter and extract them,” the FGE added.
Some of the illicit material that was found yielded accurate data on the place and date when the audiovisual content was created. Through international collaboration, the scientific division of the National Guard became aware of the facts.
Once the Prosecutor’s Office became aware of the facts, a series of actions were established that allowed to establish that the people who appear in the more than 400 videos and photographs stored by the accused are minors, victims of pornography with leciva purpose.

Among other indications, the FGE presented before a judge the garments with which the rescued victim appears at the time of the aggression, as well as the mobile device to create and store the images.
The judge determined to link him to trial for the crimes of rape and trafficking in persons in the form of storage of child pornography, and must carry out the process in prison, for the duration of the complementary investigation.
