Fateful accident ends the lives of 45 bus passengers in Bulgaria

At least 45 passengers on a bus lost their lives during an accident that is still unknown how it originated, when the vehicle was traveling from Turkey to northern Macedonia, which is located east of Bulgaria.De according to the news agency of the region, BGNES, among the dead were 12 minors, while only seven people managed to survive, 2 women and 5 men who were transferred to Pirogov hospital in the Bulgarian capital. According to the facts, the accident was recorded shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, after the bus crossed the border post of Kapitan Andreevo, and moments later the accident was recorded on the road that leads from Sofia to Blagoevgrad. The Director General of Fire Safety and Population Protection, Nikolay Nikolov, explained that the most possible line of investigation is that the unfortunate event was triggered by a fire that resulted in an accident or a traffic accident that ended in fire. Prime Minister Stegan Yanev, for his part, regretted the tragic accident and asked the authorities in charge of investigating the accident to clarify the possible cause that originated the truck fire.
