Rehearsals began on the play “Pura sangre, el amor es un monstruo” with Jorgelina Aruzzi, Carlos Casella and Griselda Siciliani

Rehearsals began on the play “Pura sangre, el amor es un monstruo”, a play by Jorgelina Aruzzi and Carlos Casella that will feature griselda Siciliani on her return to the country. The actresses return to work together after the daily strip “Educating Nina”, where they played two friends: Susy (Aruzzi) and, worth the redundancy, the protagonist, Nina (Siciliani). Along with the cast, the artists “put their finger” as a formal contract and announced that the show is coming, “game so that the lucidity of Siciliani seduces us, makes us laugh and I questioned the way we love,” they detail in a statement released by this media.

It is an acid comedy that proposes to reflect on love, as its filmmakers advance, “crossed by a dressage system that reduces us and defines us as missing beings; a system that subjects us to a career in search of completion.” For his part, Siciliani returns to Argentina after filming “Sentimental” in Spain with Javier Cámara and the direction of Cesc Gay, a performance that gave him his nomination for the Goya Awards, the most popular recognitions in the Iberian country. Although he also made another international project: a film by the renowned filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu, winner of the Oscar for his films “Birdman (or the unexpected virtue of ignorance)” and “The Revenant”.

“Pura sangre, el amor es un monstruo” has texts from texts by Aruzzi, choreography by Casella, the music of Martín Bosa, the scenography of Mariana Tirante, the light design by Paula Fraga, and the costumes by Cecilia Allassia.Complete the cast Edgardo García, Juan Cruz Martínez Mosquera, Herve Louis Segata, Pablo Rakhal Herrero and Nicolás Tadioli. Its premiere is scheduled for February 2022 at the Multitabaris Comafi theater (Avenida Corrientes 831).
