Boric will evaluate complaint against Kast after the election after fake news in debate Archi and former deputy responds “I wait for you in Courts on Monday”

One of the most tense moments of the radio debate of the Association of Broadcasters of Chile (Archi) was when the standard-bearer of the right questioned the Frente Amplista deputy for an old complaint against him. Kast had to correct himself, but Boric said he would also consider taking legal action, saying he was not charged with any allegations of abuse.
After participating in a meeting “for decent housing” in San Joaquin, Gabriel Boric said that they will evaluate filing a complaint against José Antonio Kast after December 19, because they are now worried about the runoff.
“We are going to see the complaint after the election, now we are worried about winning,” Boric said, summoning Kast, since in his opinion “he should be ashamed … look I don’t know if at this point he is ashamed, but I think it’s unfortunate that he bases a campaign on lies.”
“What I think is important is that people see how the far-right candidate, the Pinochet version of Piñera, José Antonio Kast, is unleashing a dirty campaign and is willing to lie in anything to win a couple of votes. I insist, that is bread for today and hunger for tomorrow,” he added.
In that sense, he reviewed one of the new parliamentarians of the Republican Party. “Yesterday one of his elected deputies, Mr. De la Carrera disseminated a trick photo of me alluding to carabineros, that is, the level of lies in which these people are is really regrettable. The other elected deputy of this same sector, Johannes Kaiser, insulted and raised a hate speech against our elected deputy Emilia Schneider and so on permanently,” he said.
Boric asked his adherents “not to be like them,” as “they are going to fall for all kinds of provocations, lies and fake news.” “Let’s not be like them. We are going to speak with the truth, with proposals.”
It is worth mentioning that the deputy for Magallanes does not have any complaint against him for abuse. A woman, through social networks, accused him of harassment for alleged events that occurred in 2012, when Boric was president of the Federation of Students of the University of Chile (FECH). However, he did not take legal action against the La Moneda aspirant.
The issue was far from being settled between both candidates for the Presidency of the Republic and the continuation of the discussion was on Twitter.
Kast installed the issue and mentioned the situation in a publication, calling on his opponent to file the complaint. “Yesterday, to divert attention, Gabriel Boric said that he was going to sue me for confronting him with the accusation of sexual harassment. Today, he regrets it,” the far-right candidate wrote.
“If it is a lie, let him love himself and tell the whole truth. If it is true, let him confess and ask for forgiveness,” he added.
The tweet adds that if Boric sues, they will ask that Gonzalo Winter, Emilia Schneider, Alondra Arellano and all the internal structures of Social Convergence be summoned to testify “so that they stop hiding the truth about this case and reveal the pressures that exist,” JAK warned.
Boric replied: “One day he apologizes, the next day he insists on the lie: I have not harassed, I have no complaint of harassment, nor do I have anything to hide.”
“May he continue to run the dirtyest campaign since the Yes to Pinochet in 1988 (which he also supported). Let’s not fall into their game,” he added.
Kast quickly replied, calling on him to sit in court. “Pinochet died 15 years ago. I wait for you in Court on Monday. Let the witnesses testify and tell the truth.”
“Enough of concealment. Enough of the pressure. It cannot be president who sexually harasses women,” he said.
