“Spider-Man: No Way Home” arrives to critical acclaim

When Tom Holland signed on a contract to don the Spider-Man suit he was 18 years old and agreed to shoot three films. Seven years later, at 25, the Briton is set to release “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, the third starring in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that arrives in national cinemas tomorrow. Directed by Jon Watts, who has been behind Holland’s three films (along with “Spider-Man: Back Home” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home”), prior to its release the new installment has managed to convince critics. In fact, after its premiere, it debuted on the rotten tomatoes site with 100% positive reviews, out of a total of 46 specialized reviews.” Holland has built a legacy that will endure for a long time in the spider-man firmament,” Vanity Fair posted. Critic John DeFore, of the Hollywood Reporter, meanwhile, stressed that this is the “least entertaining” of the three films, but “much better” than the first Spider-Man trilogy.Villains of the pastIn this installment of the saga, for the first time in history on the big screen of the character the identity of Spider-Man has been revealed, something that endangers the people he loves. Therefore, he goes in search of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), to ask him to reverse what happened and return to have his identity in secret. However, that opens a hole into other dimensions that allows the passage of powerful villains, something that not only affects their own future, but that of the entire multiverse.” Spider-Man: No Way Home” marks Alfred Molina’s return to the Marvel world as Dr. Otto Octavius, the villain of 2004’s “Spider-Man 2”; and Willem Dafoe, who returns to play the Green Goblin, who played in 2002’s “Spider-Man.”The heart of the mcu Holland’s debut as Spider-Man was in 2016, in “Captain America: Civil War” and, since then, has appeared in a total of seven films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (known by its acronym in English as MCU), taking a key role in it.” Since I was caught as Spider-Man I have not been able to take a break, “the actor who has been in charge of embodying the most comical and kind version of Spider-Man recently told GQ magazine. “Tom has filled the position that Robert Downey had at Marvel, which is the favorite character, and in some ways the soul of the Marvel universe,” said Joe Russo, director with his brother Anthony of several installments of “Avengers.” Holland also plans to release in February “Uncharted”, the film adaptation of the successful video game that has him as Nathan Drake, an Indiana Jones-style bounty hunter who says he is a descendant of the English privateer Francis Drake.
