Derails mechanical game in pilgrimage of Cuauhtémoc; there are 5 injured

Five people, including two minors, were injured when they fell from a mechanical game located in the pilgrimage of the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office, reported the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of the capital.
According to the agency, the accident occurred last night when the mechanical game called “Whirlpool” went off its rail, causing it to fall.
After being alerted via radio frequency, uniformed men arrived at Colosio Street and its intersection with Buenavista, in the Buenavista neighborhood, where they observed four women and a child who were inside the mechanical game, so they immediately requested medical services.

ERUM paramedics checked a 10-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl who was three months pregnant, who were transferred to a hospital for specialized medical care for simple bruises.
Another medical unit treated three women aged 19, 24 and 26, who were diagnosed as polycontundidates, without requiring their transfer to a hospital, so they were treated at the scene.
The secretariat said in a statement that, after the accident, the owner of the mechanical game, a 36-year-old man, was made available to the agent of the corresponding public ministry, who will determine his legal situation and determine responsibilities.

Meanwhile, the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office reported that all the mechanical games of the Cuauhtémoc pilgrimage were immobilized, after the accident.
He pointed out that an exhaustive review will be carried out by specialized personnel, who will determine if they have the necessary security measures to continue operating.
