After call to boycott Boric government, La Red cuts early program of “Checho” Irane

The television station, La Red, made the decision to end the program ‘Café Cargado’, which was hosted by the renowned ex-humorista, Sergio ‘checho’ Hirane, after his controversial statements against the President-elect, Gabriel Boric.
The communicator launched harsh words with the former minister of the Pinochet dictatorship, Sergio Melnick, in his program Conectador en Agricultura of the same radio station during the weekend just past.
“I saw Boric at Enade, and I saw the businessmen at Enade talking that his speech was good, quite moderate and all that. Will they believe we are stupid? It is that even when we endure that they lie to us face of raja in the face, lying face of raja, disguising themselves according to what suits the politicians, “he said.
“‘We’re going to collaborate with this government,’ some say. They are… of fright that they take away their silver,… that he fulfills what he has promised, because the country is going to go to the cres… They don’t have to cooperate anything with Boric, they have to put all kinds of obstacles in place to make him do badly in his bad policies,” he added.

The decision of La Red
These comments cost Hirane dearly, since the television signal that broadcast his program made the decision to end ‘Café Cargado’ early, since it was budgeted that the season would end on January 30.
Through a statement, La Red, said the determination: “The space for political conversation culminated on January 30. However, the station decided to end its season early.”
“This, after the statements of its presenter, Sergio Hirane who, in his radio program, called on the business world to boycott the future government,” the document states.
“Such statements provoke distrust in the editorial relationship of ‘Café Cargado’ and that is why La Red has decided to lift it from its programmatic grid,” the text concludes.
