He explained that all this includes strengthening security in all entities in which a local electoral process will be held in order to guarantee the right to vote of all citizens.” This shielding of elections is fundamental, to guarantee the right of citizens to exercise a free and informed vote. And to promote that the electoral campaigns of the local elections that will begin on April 3 are developed in a context of democratic peace and civility, “he added. Córdova recalled that this is not the first time in which the INE collaborates with other government bodies in different matters, since he pointed out that during the previous electoral process there was collaboration with authorities from various areas such as; internal politics, public security, health, education among others.
