Today, thanks to the implementation of these new mechanisms, we are allowing people to choose what they want to pay for their trip with, democratizing the options and encouraging the payment of the ticket on public transport.” For his part, Undersecretary Domínguez added that “as a Government we seek to expand the payment system, allowing the entry of new actors and virtual platforms, and at the same time diversifying the offer of means of payment to create a better travel experience for users.” One of the new modalities in the validation of trips is the QR Passage. Through the BancoEstado application, QR codes are downloaded that discount from the Rut Account, Current Account or Electronic Checkbook of each user, the amount of the trip made. “As BancoEstado we are very pleased to be able to deliver this service to the community. We know that many of our RUT Account customers are regular users of the transportation system.
