Shooting in Azcapotzalco leaves 4 dead; 2 were policemen

Four people, two police officers and two alleged armed criminals, died during a shootout while securing a home in the El Rosario neighborhood, in the Azcapotzalco mayor’s office.
The Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City reported that, derived from an investigation for a double homicide that occurred on January 18 in Lindavista, the home was secured today.
During the action, the policemen were attacked, repelled the aggression and lost their lives.

The agency reported that firearms and various narcotics were secured in the building.

The Secretary of Security, Omar García Harfuch, said that all the support and backing will be given to the families of the police officers who lost their lives.
