Juan Zabaleta said that the agreement with the IMF “generates confidence” for the country

The Minister of Social Development of the Nation, Juan Zabaleta, considered that the agreement reached with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) constitutes “an important step for the country” and affirmed that the debt “prevented planning an Argentina with growth.” This Sunday, in dialogue with Radio Mitre, Zabaleta said that the negotiation “provides predictability to the nation” and maintained that “it is not an agreement of one party, but of all, so that Argentines can move forward and not only a political space.” We reached a deal to solve the debt they left us and that prevented us from planning an Argentina with growth,” explained the official to refer to the loan of US $ 44,000 million taken under the management of former President Mauricio Macri. In this sense, Zabaleta said that “the default was to turn our backs on the world” and said that the decision of the national government to agree with the international financial organization “generates confidence inside and outside the country.”
“You have to put on the shirt of Argentina,” said the head of the Social Development portfolio, after assuring that the agreement announced on Friday was achieved “without success, and understanding that an important step has been taken.” On the other hand, the minister pointed out that the nation “is growing well, despite the difficulties,” adding that “the generation of almost half a million genuine employment jobs was achieved.”
