Two 18-year-olds were shot at a party in Mendoza

This Saturday, two 18-year-olds were shot during a party held in the Mendoza town of Godoy Cruz. The incident occurred this morning, in a house located in the La Gloria neighborhood, when a young man took out a gun and shot two others who were in the place, police sources reported. The victims, a woman and an 18-year-old man, were participating in a party in Mendoza with other people, until an argument began between a young man and another group that was in the place, which rebuked them until they retired. According to Telam, the young man returned, pulled out a firearm and began shooting at the people who were at the party. After the attack, he fled the house. In the shooting, a man and a woman were injured and had to be taken to different hospitals in the area for medical attention. The man was diagnosed with a “gunshot wound to the right upper limb with an entrance and exit hole, and a wound to the left lower limb with an exitless entrance hole,” while the young woman, who was transferred to Paroissien Hospital, was diagnosed with a “right hand gunshot wound with an entry and exit hole.” According to the sources, both young men are out of danger. After the fact, the police of the area began to gather elements to determine what happened and find the attacker, who so far is at large. The case is being investigated by personnel from the Fiscal Office 3, in the town of Godoy Cruz, province of Mendoza.
