House of the president of the Chamber of Deputies in Araucanía suffered voracious fire ending up totally burned

A fire in the Porvenir estate, in the Araucanía region, ended with the house of the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Diego Paulsen, totally destroyed. Although the origin of the incident is unknown, parliamentarians gave their support to the leader of RN, implying a possible intentionality in what happened.
The information was confirmed by the vice president of the Chamber of Deputies, Francisco Undurraga, who commented on Twitter that the level of violence that persists in Araucanía is “unpresentable. Today it was the turn of the house of the president of the Chamber, Diego Paulsen. My solidarity with your family. Enough of the violence: La Araucanía and all its people want to live in peace.”

The communist deputy, Karol Cariola, regretted the facts, stating that “the president of the Chamber Diego Paulsen is of a political vision completely opposite to mine, we have many differences. But this time I want to show solidarity with him and his family for what happened to his house. It’s totally repudiable, painful and terrible.”

From the Senate they also referred to what happened. Precisely the same president of the Upper House, Ximena Rincón, said that “we firmly condemn the events that took place in the house of Diego Paulsen. There is no reason to support this level of violence. We stand in solidarity with the deputy and his family.”

The senator and president of the party of Deputy Diego Paulsen, Francisco Chahuán, emphasized that “the burning of the house seems to us an act that seeks to instill terror. It is not the first time that there have been attempts of this nature.”
He added that “we believe without a doubt that this is a fact that seeks to cause panic in the area. The seven fire companies that were working in the place, did not have the possibility of accessing the water, because they also cut the electricity. This is clearly a planned event and one that must be condemned by all political sectors.”
For his part, the presidential delegate in Araucanía, Víctor Manoli, gave details of the work done by Firefighters to fight the fire. “He (Paulsen) was not in the commune and unfortunately, for different reasons and because they were without electricity, they could not get water to fight the fire, and that prevented them from being able to contain it,” he said.
