CDMX investigates femicide of sports host Michell Simón

Sports driver and model Michell Simón was found dead in the town of Santo Tomás Ajusco, reported the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX).
In a message to the media, the spokesman of the Prosecutor’s Office, Ulises Lara, said that the 29-year-old woman, whose body was found when workers of the capital government put out a fire on the Picacho-Ajusco highway, in the Tlalpan mayor’s office.
For these facts, the FGJCDMX initiated an investigation folder for the crime of femicide, and indicated that it already provides psychological, economic and legal assistance to the relatives of the victim.

Prosecutors conduct expert reports on the site, while Investigative Police conduct interviews and look for witnesses to provide information to locate the person or persons responsible for the homicide, Ulises Lara added.
Relatives and friends of the driver reported her missing since last Friday, February 18, when they lost communication with her.
Michell Simón, whose real name was Michelle Pérez Tadeo, was originally from Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, and was in Mexico City to become a sports chronicler, she said in an interview with Imagen del Golfo months before she was murdered.
