Navolato, Sinaloa.- In an emotional mass that took place in the Chapel of the community of Iraguato, Navolato, Sinaloa, the last farewell was given to Monsignor José Isidro Guerrero Macías, who was better known as Father Chilo.He who was part of the Dioceses of Culiacán and Mexicali, died on February 23 in the border city of Mexicali, Baja California, due to complications derived from the Covid-19.La Mass that brought together hundreds of parishioners was officiated by Monsignor Juan Ruiz Díaz, with the presence of other priests from Culiacán and Mexicali.Read more: Priscila Salas asks young women from Sinaloa to continue raising their voices for their rightsIn the religious event a portrait of Father Chilo was read, who was born on May 31, 1951 in Iraguato, which belongs to the municipality of Navolato.José Isidro Guerrero entered the seminary at the age of 16, where he successfully completed his studies in philosophy. After that stage, he continued his studies of theology in the Seminary of the Archdiocese of Guadalajara, Jalisco and on his return to Culiacán he received presbyteral ordination, as a priest, on June 25, 1977, in the Basilica Chair, with hands and prayer of Monsignor Luis Rojas Mena, who was second Bishop of Culiacán.
