Mayor Carter Called on Florida Attorneys Not to Send Children Without Full Vaccination Schedule to In-Person Classes

The mayor of La Florida, Rodolfo Carter, called on the representatives of the commune not to send their children to face-to-face classes, if they do not have the complete scheme of vaccines against Covid-19, for this March 2, the day that begins the first school year fully face-to-face since the beginning of the pandemic.
Children from the age of 3 onwards can be inoculated, but not all parents have taken their children to complete the scheme. That is why Carter made a call for these children not to return to schools and continue studying electronically, because they have a greater chance of becoming seriously ill because they do not have all the vaccines.
“We want to ask the parents and guardians of those children who do not have their complete vaccination schedule, according to what is indicated by the Ministry of Health, to refrain from sending their children to classes and continue telematically. Why do we say it? Because a child with full vaccination is much less likely to be severely infected than one who is not fully vaccinated,” said the communal chief through the municipality’s social networks.
He added that “no authority, no mayor, is going to replace the love of a responsible father, mother or guardian who vaccinates their children in a timely manner.”
